★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of Karori's true gems, and there aren't many on that list. For a giant suburb it's a strange backwater, but a visit here makes it worth it. Whether you live there or somehow find yourself passing through to the true end of the earth that is Makara, stop here, pick up a birthday present, wrapped, or buy something for yourself. I'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An array of continental treats, as well as locally sourced goodies. My son loves Pete's Natural lemonade and soda pop, Gamboni's is the closest stockist, and we go regularly after daycare to buy some.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been visiting here regularly for two years since moving to Karori and it's easily one of the highlights of the area. The meals are amazing with the lasagne being the stand out. The main himself is always hospitable.
