★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t understand how the staff in this shop are so rude. I’ve always had amazing customer service experiences in other M.A.C stores around the globe. Especially Richard has no customer service skills whatsoever and he will speak to you in a very condescending way. I wanted to buy a concealer and correct palette that I had been informed about that had just come back in stock. They had several different shades but because they were still in the packages I could not see the colours of the palette. Instead Richard was talking to me about ”NC30, NW25, mid yellow” etc... like a customer would know!? He was really rude when I asked him to open the package so I could see the colours. Having him work there is a joke, as this is not the first time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an unpleasant experience with a Mac store at Newmarket mall. She sold me the wrong product and I had to come back to swap. It took ages and the lady who attended me was super grumpy. She wasn’t happy with the situation, even that it was her mistake. Maybe because the product I chose was cheaper and I asked for a refund. FYI I’m not happy to shop there anymore. Disappointed ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the most fantastic experience at this MAC store - not only were the makeup artists extremely talented and professional, they were also super friendly, easy to get along with and helpful. They were somehow able to interpret what we were all wanting and the whole group of us left completely satisfied and feeling great! Will be back in the near future and would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my best makeup experiences. Cady was lovely and did an amazing job with my makeup. She made some excellent suggestions based on my vague descriptions. When I noticed the foundation was a tad darker than I liked, she understood my concerns, removed and reapplied with a better shade. She made sure I was comfortable with my makeup at every step. My photos turned out shocking well that night ;)

I’m a makeup artist in Nelson and we don’t have access to a Mac store so I have to order over the phone. The team are always so helpful especially Carla who helped me source the right products for my kit.
Cannot thank you all so much. Will continue to support this store and company.
