★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was meeting an old school friend, i hadn't seen for about 40yrs! For a coffee.. The place is confusing and the staff are all running round a bit confused too... lol... The guy on the cash register was new and doing on the job training.. but he was trying to be sweet... The wait staff seemed disorganised and my guess probably over run.. I guess it's a sign of the times, but I have not enjoyed the atmosphere in this place, previously so because my friend chose the place went along willingly... We got our coffes and were left alone to chat... there was no pressure on us to move and so we ordered a bite to eat.. which was really yummy... All food I have eaten here, previously has been of Masterchef standard... absolutely no probs there... It's just the place is jangly and the furniture is hard and it's just a bit disorganised.. So I don't seek the place out regularly... But I must reiterate the food is Great!
It was really awesome to be able to sit and catch up 40yrs and not feel like we should be moving on!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service . I needed gluten free food and needed to educate the waitress that the fries were not gluten free if they were cooked in a fryer with gluten. So.if you are gluten free/coeliacs don't get their frys. But the rest of the meal was tasty and brilliant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got there at 11 wasn’t feed until 12:30. Food was okay pretty bland. More disappointed in the service. I had to ask twice if we could get our orders taken. The two young waitresses there are useless. I felt sorry for the other waiter because he was doing their jobs for them. They were on their phones avoiding doing any type of work. Was very poor service. The food came out so randomly and not together. I finished my meal and drink before my friend got any of hers. The drinks took ages to come out as well, two of us ordered the same drink and they came out 10 minutes apart. Don’t recommend coming here. Long wait, bad food, bad service, just all over a bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're an early bird of a Sunday morning, and you like not only lovely and refined surroundings, but a refined menu and great coffee then Maude's is definately a spot you'll want to be. Well worth putting on your top Cafe's list to frequent. The staff are warm and friendly. To get the best from Maudes, you'll want to pick your times...it can get very busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disgusting customer service. I ordered a dish that was over cooked and immediately bought this to the attention of the waitress. When settling the bill the manager was dismissive and rude. As I am in hospitality I suggest the owner needs to address the lack of customer service and rudeness of staff. This is a nice venue and local . But customers have choice and I am sure as a small business local support and loyalty is important. I will not be returning or recommending this business as a result of the attitude and service I received today

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited for mother's day this morning. Service was excellent , despite the fact they were very busy. Polite staff, prompt orders and delivery of coffee to the table. I ordered the eggs benedict and I am being 100% truthful when I say they were the best I've ever had. The poached eggs were served on sourdough with a homemade sauce which was absolutely delicious. They also added a charred broccolini which added further layers of beautiful flavour. Top notch. My son loved his pancakes, husbands meal was great and the coffee was excellent. Top marks! Thank you Maude!
