★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my new favourite DOC sites on the Forgotten Highway (SH43). Toilets need some cleaning and there is no pay cards to make payment. No phone signal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great DoC campsite right on the edge of the Whanganui River. A nice distance off the road for a peaceful sleep.Toilets are a bit smelly and not cleaned as well as other DoC campsite we have used. No potable water here. Plenty of room to find a good place.
