★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very suprised there arent more reviews, as this little store tucked away inside Te Awa is always very busy!! Patience is a virtue!!! Been here twice for the mani/pedi shellac. Both times I was very pleased with the work done. Although i did notice the 2nd time i came back, the massage chair i was in was in a very bad (scary almost) state. Not a good look and not comfortable!! Also my 1st time here, I was treated to a nice long leg and foot massage. My 2nd visit felt rushed and not a joy! Then to cap that visit off, a very loud mouthed woman made sure, the entire store heard how dirty her UV Lamps were. Ok, I get it if you're not happy with something..sure let management know...but dont ruin other peoples day of being pampered. I rarely treat myself - and this rude womans outburst wasnt managed well. I felt awkward being their having to listen to her tirade...maybe if management had stepped in more quickly she wouldnt have carried on like she did. Aside from this,I would still come back. I got many compliments on the nails and friends have since shopped there. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible service, was told to wait an hour for a booking so we did that and arrived 5 minutes prior to our booking, letting them know we had arrived back and would wait. After 20 minutes the woman came to collect our colours (and I assume put them by our chairs?), but 15 minutes after she came back and asked us how she could help. We let her know that we had a booking for almost 40 minutes ago and she had already taken our colours. She said oh ok well we can sit one of you down now, but we specifically made our booking for two people. So many people coming in and being told to come back in 30 minutes or so as well, when they know they are running wayyy behind that. We ended up walking out - would not recommend. And the seats, polishs, chairs and desk are all very worn, dirty and dusty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 stars because I have been here a few times and my acrylics usually look pretty good. My problem is when I get someone who honesty can't be bothered and does a rush job because they have their break right after doing my nails. I get it, I get excited to go on a break at work too but I don't rush and mess up, I put in just as much effort as i always do. I also thought maybe he just wasn't very experienced but he made both my hands a completely different shape, 1 hand was rounded and 1 was square and when I said something he said it is okay, but when he did my friends nails the next time I went there, they were perfect. I do like how my nails turn out when the ladies do it tho, they look much better.

TOO expensive!!
1. No wrist pads to lean on, on the work table.
2. The guy that did my nails was RUDE!
3. Straight up, the nail artist, he stopped doing my nails to take a personal call...
4. Then he brought his mb to the work station and made another personal call, at which time another customer observed and wasn't impressed!
NEVER AGAIN!!
Very unprofessional behaviour, that's my review!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely would not recommend. Definitely not worth $70. My nails turned out wonky and lumpy and it just looks really messy. Instead of asking me to relax my hand the lady slapped it a few times. I asked if she could go shorter and she fully ignored me

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to this place for the last year and I'll be honest half the time it's really unprofessional, the wait time is ages, and my nails are hit and miss and other times I looove them- it just depends when you go and who you get but for the price it's worth it.
However, yesterday I asked for a gel manicure of epic proportions on my natural nails and the man who did my nails (think his name is Tony) did not disappoint! By far my favourite! The surface is a little uneven but for $52 I mean, come on! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible nails! The colour on the green nail is uneven. There are black speckles in my white nail. The are not the shape I asked for. They over priced and are poor quality. Would not recommend. I will be asking for a full refund
