★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing experience! The friendliness and professionalism getting us ready for the trip was great. The trip up river was just fantastic. If you are looking for a couple hours of fun and amazing scenery, go to Punakaiki Canoes and do it before you go to a Pancake Rocks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A propoer canoe rent. Nice owner and very good clothes you can get as well. Like water proof shoes, a waterproof suit or shorts and a good vest. All in all we have had one of our nicest hours there. The view is amazing. And the tour was so much fun. If you have time, take some hours to drive in the river with there with the canoes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome experience, would absolutely recommend - gives you a whole different perspective of the scenery. I had never kayaked before but found it not too difficult. The owners are absolutely lovely and we’ll be coming back here for our next trip to Punakaiki ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible experience. Everything I had hoped for. Punakaiki River is amazing as you see wildlife (birds, fish) and so many different rock formations. Cliff backdrop is spectacular. You have to carry the kayak up stream which might be challenging for someone not fit.
Prices are fair and reasonable. Ken is a fair and helpful, providing all the gear you need including wet suit, shoes, sunglasses wire, dry bags, all of it!
