β β β β β Lovely stay at Seascapes at Punakaiki after coming off the Paparoa Track, this April. It was a wet and wild West Coast day that we came off the track, so we were delighted to walk into Seascapes and find a washing machine, dryer and of course hot shower! We loved the upstairs living space, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The house was peaceful, warm and just perfect for our 7 bodies to spread out in. Had a fabulous dinner at the Pub along the road, big sleep in and tootled off to the township for brekkie the next morning. These guys also relocated a car for us and did our drop-off at Smoke Ho carpark. Thanks folks. Great service all round. Only comment, it would have been really nice to have a small bottle of milk in the fridge, for a hot cuppa on arrival. Otherwise all grand.

β β β β β Cliffscapes was the most wonderful place to stay. It is exactly as the description shows it but the feeling of being in this wee piece of paradise can only be realised once you stay there. Totally private with beautiful gardens. We could not fault the place.

β β β β β Had the most amazing stay at both Seascapes and Treescapes. Both beautiful, stunning locations and views. Treescapes felt like we were in a luxury tree house that left me in awe. Waking up in the bunk beds with conveniently located windows next to each bed, set the day off beautifully. It was raining for most of our stay but i wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. Treescapes indoor/outdoor areas were perfect rain or shine. Highly recommend staying here when you make your way to punikaki for the incredible walks/scenery/people. Thanks Jed!

β β β β β My friends and I spent 2 nights at Treescapes and it was such an amazing stay! Plenty to do with lots of great walks and beaches around. The house is beautiful with new finishes, nice and quiet location tucked away in the ferns. Heaps of room and a nice cosy vibe. 10/10 recommend

β β β β β What a wonderful stay in the trees! We spent two nights at treescapes and felt like we were in a tree house. Amazing clean facilities and a wonderful space to enjoy on the deck. Overlooking the ocean and busking in the natural wild life. We will be back!!!

β β β β β A beautifully appointed house among the trees. A unique reflection of this very special part of the world. Fantastic location among the nikau palms and birds. A great kitchen with everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable beds. Loved the log burner. Big deck and barbecue. We stayed 2 nights but could have easily stayed longer. There is so much to do in this area. Lots of information at our house about the area. Thanks so much Jed!

β β β β β This little retreat from the world has all you need to feel cozy and at home while fully immersed in the stunning nature around you. Views of the wild west coast waves through the lush punga and nikau treetops filled me with awe each time I looked out. Visible from the deck, the couch, the bed and the kitchen! Here my yoga practice took on a whole new meaning of peaceful, I slept the deepest sleep in months, my mind eased as the stress of life lifted, washed away by the distant sound of waves and calls of bush birds. Cozy and warm with the fire pumping and close to countless walks and beaches this is the perfect retreat in winter or summer. I hope to stay again next time I head down to the wild coast!

β β β β β We had a great time staying in two houses run by Punakaiki Escapes before and after walking the Paparoa Track at Easter. The houses were both very comfortable and well appointed and good for larger groups of whΔnau and friends. One of the houses, had such an amazing view of the sea and beach. But the other was only metres walk away. Both houses within walking distance of the local pub and food truck in the campground - I ate my fill of whitebait. lots of things to do close by and within driving distance. Highly recommend the house and the friendly service.
