★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another Doc treasure. A huge campground with basic toilet and water tap but spectacular views. Easy walk to the Blue Lake, passing the historic Vulcan Hotel. Plenty of room over a holiday weekend- hope this post doesn't spoil that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very basic campsite. Got one toilet and a tap (need to boil the water before drinking) Really big space so plenty for everyone. In middle of nowhere but I think it's absolutely an awesome place. It's quiet, you are surrounded by small mountains. There is a track starting from the campsite to the blue lake ( about 15min). And then you can do the loop around the lake

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome spot but if coming from Palmerston east coast don't take first turn off sign post st bathans blue lake as it is shingle the whole way. Travel further along till the next sign to st bathans blue lake Tar seal the whole way. We walked around from the domain entrance awesome scenery highly recommend. Check out the small township just up the road ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice flat free campsite that you can take your dog to. Also beautiful walks near it.(blue lake) there is also the St Bathans village near it.
