★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short walking distance to main area of Queenstown and the gondola. Amazing views. Apartment is as advertised. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked to take my daughter away with my other daughter for her 21st. . Was looking forward to this .However the accomadation was just okay .room was extremely noisey with a backpackers next door and being on the street front. That is not the hotels fault but having substandard service is . We arrived just before the office closed and the young guy gave me the key and said they were closing . We received no milk we couldn't pull the sofa bed out at all .so my daughter slept on the sofa. The next day I mentioned this to the lady at the office and about there being no milk .I received a shocked apology but still know one came over and showed us how this sofa bed worked.
I asked if the room was being serviced
And was told yes this was at 8.30 am .we left for the day and got back at 2pm to find no clean towels the rubbish wasn't empty . At 4.15 we get a knock at the door with some towels .!!! I booked this through book me sight and feel very annoyed about this .The rooms decor is very dated . Really the only good thing was the location .Apart from that I booked and paid for 3 beds and only 2 got beds the other had an uncomfortable sofa .Will not come back here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apartments are very big and fully equipped. A bit old fashioned and could be cleaner (light switches were never cleaned before I guess). Location is with lake view, therefore very good. We payed for three nights and were told to change the room on the third day to a cheaper room - on this third day we were told we didn't have to change due to a booking cancelation. So we were lucky and could stay in the apartment. What they didn't tell us was that we have to pay the full rate for the apartment on the third night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was dirty, pershiable food under the sofa, dirt, food and a syringe beside the oven. Several broken items; dishwasher, shower, handles, stair rail. We were meant to check in at 2 and he was still cleaning at 330. He took a bond for us staying, then refused to refund. The attitude of staff was rude and the entire stay was extremely disappointing. I do not recommend staying here.

The apartment is close to the lake, has a balcony with a view of the lake, has a staircase all the way down to the lake and the facilities are very good, there's also a surplus of pillows and towels in the cabinet so you don't have to call to ask for one if you need it. It's also 5 minutes walk from the town. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for 4 nights in apartment 307 in mid March. We loved it and would stay again. It was very clean plus was serviced daily with lots of clean towels left. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms modern with nice carpets and furnishings. Great private deck with lovely views and very close to town. The apartment was on 3 levels with bedrooms top and bottom and lounge and kitchen in the middle so for people who are a bit unsteady on their feet they may find the stairs difficult. Plus it was slightly up the hill away from the busy road so there were quite a few outside steps up to this unit. But there are also about 4 apartments at the road level which could be requested to avoid the outside stairs. We highly recommend The Lodges.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed with my family at apartment#6, which was very dirty. There were insects, spiders, sent email to them with the photos but they do not bother at all, very disappointed. I would not recommend anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Few small complaints No plug for bathrooms in and light bulb not work Called reception they would send maintenence. However plug didn't fit sink and bulb worked 1 day..Hose inshower leaked ..put up with it
