10/10. Would do it again. I can see why it's a NZ Speciality.

Walked from the Grand Chateau. Was an easy 1.5 hour walk on path the whole way. Magnificent scenery. Well worth the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is a stunning hike which is a must for anyone visiting the park. It’s fairly challenging but 100% worth the effort. Try to pick a clear day if you can to enjoy the most amazing views, some of the best in NZ.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing adventure for our little family of 4. We went there to celebrate our son's first birthday. It was my first snow trip as well. I absolutely loved it. The beauty took over the senses and left us mesmerized.
