Famous attraction to the travelers are geothermal geysers in New Zealand. Wai-o-Tapu is close to Rotorua and a natural wonder. The magnificent Champagne Pool, the Devil’s Bath and the huge bubbling mud pools are sights to see which are out of this world. Do not miss the Lady Knox geyser eruption at 10.15am every morning. There are free natural springs outside the park too to take a dip. Don't forget to carry your bathing suit

Literally the best day ever!!!!!! This was so cool, if you love natural places and wonders - please visit here. You can go and see the lady knox geyser erupt every day at 10:15am but it is an artificial eruption done with soap. But this place is amazing, the green lake walk out is so worth walking out to. Unfortunately a little part of the track was cut off unfortunately but we could still see the lake and waterfall, if your strapped for time just go and see the waterfall, not the vista because the waterfall is better. The champagne lake was beautiful, best get there in the morning early to ensure less people. Its orange crust is pretty much the entire way around it, so good oportunities for good photos. The track on 3 is the most difficult and walking boots are recommended. The cafe is pretty decent also and you can purchase mud products at the shop which i did.

The place was great to get an idea of all the thermal activity. It has a great variety of things to see so if it’s the only place you’ll get to to witness this nature, you won’t be disappointed. Kids were 2 and 5 at the times. They did get bored but they soldiered on! It is hard for them to understand the science behind it all and to them it was just more scenery, but as adults we appreciated and enjoyed the visit.

Great place to view active craters, Champagne Pool and Artist's Palette with its beautiful colours. There are 3 different walking tracks with the 3rd one being longest requiring a bit more fitness with climbing up & down stairs. Some of the areas had dried up a bit but it's still an interesting explore. Great lookout points and the paths are in good condition with clear directions.

I was here with my family a couple months before it closed, and it was WONDERFUL, would reccomend to anybody. The place is insanly beautiful has great service and an affordable price. I does smell a little, but you can get used to it after about 15 minutes. 10/10, one of the best things i did in New Zealand.

One of the 20 Most Surreal Places in the World. Visitors can choose one or all of three walks which take between 45 and 90 minutes. It was a fantastic experience walking around the volcanic city -Rotoroa, New Zealand. Got a chance to enjoy the unique features include the world famous Champagne Pool naturally coloured springs, bubbling mud, steaming ground, expansive vistas, huge volcanic craters and sinter terrace formations. But this wonderland is currently closed. There is an entrance fee to get in this place around NZ$ 30.00+ for adults.

Our fault: we went on a blustery rainy day and paid for the entire 'tour'/walk' but didn't get a chance to experience anything at all. We had to turn back 10min into the walk! Oh well, I guess you can't do much about that! But nevertheless, nice place.

The ticket is a bit expensive but it’s awesome to experience the sulphur lakes and geysers. There’s a lot to see and you won’t find anything else like it in NZ
