★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large area, hard soil, tents maybe not. Pretty spot in spring. Close to Omarama and all it offers and the clay cliffs. Drop toilet. Mobile coverage. On the highway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've camped overnight here a couple of times as it is conveniently located just off the main road. The Ahuriri River flowing by is rather charming with some hood swimming holes. Good for tents as well as campervans as there are toilets there. Free and plenty of space.
