★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are about to purchase a string instrument of value, do yourself a favour and dont look any further than Alistair's . Certainly not online. Walk into this shop smell and touch the pieces of art on the wall, play and pay and you'll never look back. The experience alone is worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic music shop and great customer service. Alastair located a vintage banjo for me and has been incredibly helpful with tips and tricks on how to keep the in tip top condition... if you are looking for a stringed instruments, this is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for piano books but also asked for advice on buying a violin for a five-year-old. Excellent help, particularly around the refurbished violin scheme they do. We're now on the third violin for our youngster. Such a great scheme! I'd recommend Alistair's every time!
