Delays

  • As a result of aircraft engineering issues, there are delays to some parcels sent by courier between the North and South Islands in both directions.

Delays to Mail Items:

  • Due to precautionary maintenance on some of our electric mail buggies, delays of up to 2 days are expected for mail items across the country. These delays only impact mail delivered through our Paxster fleet – not Courier or Rural items.
  • As our posties continue to deliver mail with a reduced fleet and through other means of transport, there is a small backlog forming. This will clear once the Paxsters are back up and running.  

Delays to Parcels:

  • In the North Island, we are experiencing delays for parcel delivery of up to 2 days in the Whangarei, Hamilton/Waikato and Rotorua areas.
  • In the South Island there are delays for parcel delivery of up to 2 days, except in Nelson, Blenheim, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch East.

We’re working hard to get all items to their destinations safely but apologise for the inconvenience caused by these delays.

I've tried ringing to speak with someone but even when I use the phone option given I'm redirected back to where I began. Today, 2/2/22 at 4pm one of your courier drivers with the rego plate HRC312 drove into our council rubbish bin. He knocked it over, dragged it, then spent 4 seconds on the side of the road pondering whether to do the right thing before he decided nahhhh and gapped it leaving it for me to rectify. I know we don't live in a flash street bud but have some respect for other peoples belongings aye. I would have been fine had you made an attempt to pick it up after your atrocious driving display. Do better next time.

An astonishing level of incompetence. After a week my parcel has not arrived. After days of emails and complaints, not a single reply as to why. A decent sized box. Not easy to loose. A parcel arrived last week looked like it had been sat on. Not good enough. I would never use this company by choice.

I was at home, the post man was not even bothered to knock the door, but dropped a card! I went online asked for redelivery, it has been 7 days passed by, no email or anything...tried to call but can't speak to anyone. Previously my husband 's parcel had similar situation, he was wise enough to went to the center to pick up, maybe I should have done that at the first place. Quite shocking with their system and servic!

They're ok. Their tracking system is weird and I think the courier said they came to drop my package off when I wasn't home but didn't leave notice so my package went back to auckland then came back to Hamilton. If I were you I would create an account so you can track your packages. If I didn't do this my package would've gone back to Australia.

Not happy at all trying to contact someone to track my parcel that is now a week late but yet a paid for overnight services!! Waited on the ph for an hour & more trying to locate my parcel it’s now delayed and tracking it has been impossible. Frustrated as no one is picking up or communicating back will never use new post ever again to be honest.

Feeling disappointed. They lost my package at the depo and are resending it to a new completely random address. They don’t refund the receiver either they can only refund the seller even though I’ve already paid for it? ?

Paid for same day, express evening delivery service. True to form, nothing arrived, what a surprise. I would have thought that CourierPost would have been able to courier a parcel from Point A to Point B, a distance of several kilometers, because that's what their name implies. Guess not. The shambolic status of postal delivery services in New Zealand is equivalent to, and in some cases like this one, WORSE than that I experienced in the third world. Absolutely pathetic. And this will probably get blamed on COVID; service providers eternal excuse for rubbish service.

I was waiting over a week for a tracked and very rare and expensive purchase to leave the Hamilton depot where it had sat for a week. When I went in person to enquire, it turns out the depot had been broken into. No communication from nz post. My parcel was at least still there but had been vandalised, ripped open and damaged that significantly reduced its value. Shocking service.
