★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a photo opportunity! A great place to stop and enjoy the landscape and winding roads! The only thing is we don't know where exactly the Devil's Staircase is. Nevertheless we still had fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The views are spectacular. If I have any complaint about NZ roads it they need more turnouts like this. I enjoy the opportunity to see this magnificent scenery. A beautiful lake with outstanding mountains. We were lucky to have them dusted with snow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another good stop along the way to Queenstown from Te Anau or vice versa.
This is again a well marked photo stop for people to take a break and stretch their legs.
Not too sure which part is the devils staircase but we did find these weird stones along the stop and thanks to the beautiful weather, pretty much any shot would have been good here.
Lake wakatipu is indeed a beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't find any Devil's Staircase, but did find a spot for lovely views of Lake Wakatipu. Beautiful spot for photos and a break from the driving on the windy roads to get there. Licated about halfway from Queenstown Airport to Kingston. Best to access when coming from Kingston, as it's on the lefthand side
