I surprised my partner with dinner here after a soak at the Onsen hotpools for his birthday. The food was amazing, I went bold with the citrus cured fish and it was beautiful. The gin soaked plum sorbet was just the icing on top of the cake. The main focus is of course the alcohol. We got a testing board and cocktails, the staff are super knowledgeable about their products and were able to give us recommendations based off our likes and dislikes. We also loved the open style kitchen and being able to chat with the chef. 10/10 all round for food, drinks and staff. Even better, there's a late night bus that stops outside and takes you straight to Queenstown. Well definitely be back.

Interesting location. Next to the onsen pools. Great staff. Had the tasting flights. Very recommended, chance to find your thing and get more of that. Food was excellent beef brisket is amazing. Do ask for aioli on the side if you are not a fan. New Bella wild plum was our favourite. Oh the Queenstown gin is a standout too.

Gin tasting Platter was good value. The food was not so good. Wedges were dry and so chewy they were hard to eat. The prawn cakes were also dry and had no real flavor. The staff were great bit both the waitress and the chef were really noisy clagging glasses and trays. The premises was very nice and tastefully fitted out. Ground concrete aggregate floors and big steel lintels cleanly painted white, outdoor seating and sunny.

We came here because I'm into gin and wanted to get my gin tasting on. I had never tried Broken Hearts before and there were some variants that surprised me. I ended up buying the Queenstown batch to take home and bought a wee bottle of the original to give as a Christmas prezzie. I also liked the Broken Heart tumbler/glass so got that too. I'll try the food menu next time but I recommend the gin tasting. It's a good thing to add to the itinerary especially on a rainy day (which it was the day we went!).

I went to NZ Gin Day event at the Gin Garden on Saturday and had the most wonderful day. The weather was amazing and the band were awesome. Even though it was a busy day the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back again soon for some more cocktails - my favourite was the Rhubarb Gimlet!!
