★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great value stay just a bit outside the town. Some rooms have mountain view and staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived 2 hours befor the standard check-in time but since our room was ready the reception were happy to do early check-in for us. Thanks again. Cheers :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a warm and hospitable place where you can find accomodation for as little as 95 dollars a night. The manager and the whole support team is amazing. Rooms with good carpet area and wide open spaces allow you to enjoy nature at its fullest. Whether you are looking for short term or long term stay, this place is ideal. The bus stop is right opposite the lodge making transit easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On our last night there we found bed bugs. I took a photo and showed the staff. We were told they'd clean the room and give us a new one but we said we'd prefer a refund and would find another motel.
We were then told there was an issue with the refund and we would have to speak to the manager. The manager called us saying he'd refund the last night but not the two others. We were accused of faking it as it was supposedly too convenient we found these bugs on our last night and then demanded a refund.
We were told to provide proof so again we had to show the photo and were eventually given a full refund.
Doesn't change the fact ALL our luggage is possibly infected and we are currently having to get rid of these bugs from hell. Going to end up ruining all of our clothes but the manager had the biggest issue with providing a refund.
Only recommend if you feel like washing all ur clothes in hot water then putting them through a hot dryer and spraying, vacuuming and throwing away the rest of ur belongings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their suits are clean and spacious. The communal kitchen is equipped with commercial equipments. It was nice to have chances to cook our own meals during a long trip. The rate was a bargain. The reason for only 4 stars is because there is no lift/elevator in their three story building. We have to carry our luggages up and down the stairs. I would recommend to stay on the first floor for people carrying their ski equipments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one the best place I been staying so far, and although it is not like other high end property, the place still provide you with cozy feeling and friendly environment from the staff. Situated in the middle of shotover, the only downside of the place is that you don’t have really strong connection but instead get offered with dreamy scene in the smoke of morning Monday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love our stay there. I was first a bit indecisive in choosing to stay in the city or a bit away from the city and I'm so glad we chose to stay a bit away from the city. The car park situation in the Queenstown city is a big headache.
The lodge is tucked away just 6km away from the city which is just nice to give you that tranquillity of nature. Just look at that view! Near to shotover river, coronet peak and arrowtown.
Would highly recommend staying here if you've got a car. Its very cheap too given its a studio apartment. Wifi is unlimited and good connection, never had any issue. Staffs are friendly. One thing that can be improved is the kitchen cleanliness.
Would definitely stay here again whenever visiting Queenstown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh where to start!? The lodge is at the base of My Cook. The view I had from the window was one of the most beautiful I ever seen! The lodge had room service! The room was nice and cozy, with our own bathroom! Resuming, one of the best places I have ever been... The mountaineer cafe is 2 min walk from here. Rabbits outside in the grass... Amazing tracks.... Oh I cannot write all, cause it would never end
