★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must go place, with not only beach, but also streams, rocks, beautiful grasses. And plenty space for parking. Easy to get to the beach. On the way to the beach, you can even see some lovely horses in farmland by fence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pretty and remote. About one hour from Waitomo, no petrol stations or cell phone coverage or shops, so take some food and drinks. There is a toilet and freedom camping is allowed. The South end of the beach has 200 million year old fossils of shells in the rocks. If you're going fossil hunting, go when the tide is out. There were a few 4WD's on the beach, and were fishing off the beach.
