★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms were expensive for what they were. Everything outdated and in poor repair. Facilities basic and poor quality. Faced with a written threat of being charged if I didn't wash my dishes I was surprised to find no washcloth, no tea towel and no detergent. Had to find the elusive manager to ask for these.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly the pics on the website are nothing like you get. I booked a deluxe king bed for 2. The key wouldn't unlock the room but it did unlock the one next door lol. The room had a strong musty smell, shower over bath which was low pressure and dated bathroom, no table or seats and no deck which I had booked as per the pics. I decided to eat at there restaurant and ordered loaded wedges which I did not eat any as they we're way over cooked and the melted cheese was dark brown almost black and hard. They did not charge me. There menu does not match same on there website I mean what is wegs and rice and garlic prowns?. the place is crying out for an upgrade even the information book in the room was in Chinese. However the staff we're friendly. I wish I had checked the feedback before hand as I would of driven the extra 15kms to te anau where accommodation is plenty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was not the top tier quality but the staffs are super friendly and the view of the lake was crazy. Especially in the morning when sun comes up it's breathtaking view and you can't resist to go out to the lakeside to take photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked the views from the room. We stayed a week there. Some renovations in the rooms will make more appealing. Friendly stuffs and cozy restaurant for dinner in pouring afternoon sunlight with beautiful lake view.
