A beautiful walk, volunteers are doing a fantastic job with pest control and information boards.

A beautiful and reasonably easy walk that takes around an hour even with breaks to take photos. Track was surprisingly dry even after a few days of rain.

Really lovely walking track, hidden away in the hills near Rotorua. Lots of very good signage and native trees.

Below is view from parking area. Not well cared for there is a blacked out half of a tree under which some ninkumput started a fire, the beginning of the track unpleasant not tended. I decided not to go on my own, it didnt feel safe! Even the poster is dated and dirty I'd be disappointed if I were an overseas tourist!

Really enjoyed this walk. The Nature track is awesome with lots of information about the flora and fauna that you see. The Jubilee track is also excellent (but tough going). This leads up to the top of Mount Ngongotaha. While there are no views from up there (because of surrounding bush), the walk down Mountain Road is great and does afford some excellent views. The road is also closed to traffic so you walk without fear of getting hit.

Great walk. Got the choice of the nature walk which is a is the easier choice or the jubilee walk which is about 2.5km straight up. Better choice I found. One set back. No view on the top due to the vegetation. Still worth it though.

Great local walk! Plenty of native bush with a few scenic overlooks. Nice signage about plants and animals along the path. The path is a loop up the mountain, so the first half is almost all uphill, but it's well planned so it's not too steep (this applies to the Nature Walk, Not the Jubilee Track which is straight uphill!). The signs say it takes 1 hour, but if you stop to look at the bush and reaf the signs then you should plan for the hike to take longer.

The summit walk is a good work out. The nature walk is suitable for children. Not many views anywhere but nice forest setting.
