★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great price for the basics. 4 bed dorm rooms have a jug toaster microwave and a fridge and two elements as well as kitchen utensils. In my room the jug didn't work but was replaced and the front element didn't work either but overall a good experience would recommend if your not fussed about making tea in a pot or looking to stay somewhere reasonably good for cheap

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cleanest backpackers I've ever stayed at with plenty of wifi and well heated. Definitely worth staying over here rather than driving through to Wellington or up North. The sunrise over the mountain is a great way to start anyone's morning

Had a 2 bed dorm to myself with 1 other in another room.
Very clean and tidy. Way better than a backpackers. No needing to leave your own unit to cook or use bathroom.
Staff really friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay. The queen unit has everything you need, bathroom and little kitchenette. Super close to bars and restaurants we really enjoyed just been able to walk to get dinner and drinks. The spa is amazing after a day on the mountain. If you book directly through them they really look after you. Great service. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: I liked Everything. Great place to stay for the price. Negative: The only thing I didnt like is using booking.com . They didn't even send through my reservation. I will not use them again. Twice in 2 days booking.com made errors that could have potential stuffed up my trip. The actually accommodation was great though. No complaints at all there..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, clean warm and tidy room and a friendly owner. The spa pool was awesome and handy to have affer a day out on the mountain. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. Plus, keep an eye out on the adorable (and very large) resident cat that swings by to say hello now and then

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! Didn't sleep this good in a while. Super comfortable beds and the rooms are more like little shared apartments with their own kitchen and bathroom. The hot tub was amazing after a 3 day hike and the room as well as the common area are super well equipped. Everything was really clean, too. The couple running the place at the moment was super friendly and I wish I could have stayed longer. Would come back in a heartbeat if I was ever in the area again! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not far from the centre of Ohakune, this conveniently located accommodation includes both backpacking facilities and individual cabins. We found the cabins to be quite well set-up, with good cooking facilities, separate toilet and shower and a room for the adults and another for the children. The venue itself also has an indoor spa which you can book for private use. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable. The only negative was that the decor was a bit tired and the tap in the sink leaked. Other than that it, it was a very reasonable place to stay.
