β β β β β Recently switched to here as my Doctor retired.
On my first visit the doctor was not up to date with asthma medications and had very little idea about preventers. After waiting at the chemist for new medication I needed urgently I was told the doctor had gotten confused about which medications were subsidised and he had misinformed me about this.
Instead of giving me a lower dose medication to take more often that would be free, the doctor decided it would be better if I wait around at the chemist while he had a think.
After I waited a while he rang to say he wasn't sure if the medication he had prescribed was correct and could he ring in a few days time and then I could make another trip to the chemist?
When he got in touch a few days later, he had a different medication choice. He said it was the same as the other medication and I wouldn't have had to wait if I had just paid the full price for the other initial medication he had told me was subsidised.
When I mentioned that if he was not up to date with respiratory medications perhaps he should not be taking money to treat these patients, or that he should update his research in this area of his practise, or actually tell patients at the consult that he was not up to date and would need to do some research, he said that was harsh.
Not as harsh as ending up in the hospital because your doctor is careless and mediocre.

β β β β β I'm diabetic and there's no cure for it just medication so I'm unsure why I'm refused medication until i have to book an appointment.
- Every time i go i have to pay the full fee, ask two questions and you get charged twice if you dont you don't get a script and then you die.
- They once limited my prescription to a monthly dose. i pay my own rent i shouldn't have to pay yours.
- Nurse is great, she fixes the problems I've had since day one.

β β β β β Absolutely outstanding medical practice. From the receptionist through the nurse to the doctor they were all very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. From the minute you step in you know you are in good hands. Being Southern Cross affiliated, having online enrollment and appointment booking system and stunning practice is just a cherry on top.

β β β β β I cannot recommend this GP clinic enough, the Doctors are fantastic, Dr Isobella Cheung is the first doctor in my life who has shown such care and interest in my health, but equally across all GPs at this clinic they communicate and share a genuine caring interest in your wellbeing. I would not go anywhere else.

β β β β β I love that I can see my lab tests, book appointment and order repeat prescription on their online health portal. Dr. Isobella is a brilliant GP. She is collaborative, effective communicator and pro-active. I am thankful that she is very prompt in referring me to a specialist when I needed and even followed up on my results and checked on how I was doing. Their practice nurse is very informative and empathic. She was good in having those discussions regarding female health. There is also a mobile clinic downstairs where they do your Covid swab which means I only have to call them and book a time to come in rather than a drive thru. Stonefields residents are very lucky to have this medical centre.
