★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely an amazing experience here. We were here for a yoga and meditation retreat. This accommodation is based on sustainability and I loved every bit of it. A magnificent 5 days here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their spa treatment was superb. The views were surreal. I would love to come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms are practical and comfortable. Spacious kitchen and dining room with professional equipment. The garden is well-kept and relaxing. A place for a barbecue, to rest, to play. In the hall there is a set of board games for long evenings. There is now playground. We found it a very good one near the school (10 minutes walk).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a little bit of heaven surrounded by mountains. We had a camper van spot here for two nights. The toilet/shower block is the cleanest block I've ever come across. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home! They offer morning yoga classes and breakfast. We did a yoga class one morning and it was brilliant. If you're in Glenorchy and need somewhere to pull in this place is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One weekend stay here vapourised our worries and bad vibes, allowing us to return to our "regular lives" as actual human beings. I've honestly never had a hotel experience deliver a transcendental experience, but this did. We left wondering if we could eat better, live more sustainably and even treat people better. If I'm honest, the drive home was about composting toilets. Book the relaxation package and dinner with Pete Gawron. You'll laugh as much as you eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed twice in 2019: with My mother and her friend in one of the bunk rooms. With my dad while on a Campervan trip. Amazing facilities, super friendly staff. The facilities are just incredible, all built following the Living Building Challenge. Imagine adding the most strict concepts of sustainability with a great taste of art in one pot. All Solar powered, using reclaimed materials, treating waste water on site with native plants and local artwork everywhere. Very inspiring!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We held our wedding at Camp Glenorchy and we had such a great time! The staff are so caring, friendly and especially helpful during the planning process, we felt like our day was top priority. The best part for us was having our guests stay onsite with us for the whole weekend so we got quality time with everyone. It has such a relaxed vibe and we loved the variety of indoor and outdoor areas, specially for hanging by the fire in the evening, playing lawn games in the sun or to cosy up on the couch’s inside.
It is such a unique venue and we can’t wait to go back for yearly anniversaries!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fabulous stay and was superbly looked after by staff. A delicious dinner (they catered for us) in beautiful surroundings. So warm, comfy, stylish and of course very eco friendly. Great coffee too. The beds were comfy and amenities in the chalets so clean. The composting toilets are so technologically advanced, they were nicer to use than standard toilets. No noise, no smell... ever! I would love to stay again.
