Situated in picturesque Acacia Bay, just 5 km from Taupo town and a short walk to the lake is The Loft Taupo, a lovely purpose built cottage style B&B with wrap-around porches and lovely gardens, backing onto a bush reserve with abundant bird life. Come, sit and relax in our garden, listen to the birds sing whilst you enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.
Our accommodation in Taupo includes three large well appointed rooms at the BnB with their own ensuite bathrooms. The bathrooms have heated towel rails, hair dryers and toiletries. All rooms have queen size beds with electric blankets, heating and fans for the winter. There are TVs in each room and a table and chairs for comfort. Tea and coffee making facilities are available.
Breakfast at The Loft consists of homemade muesli, seasonal fruit, yogurt, orange juice, freshly baked sourdough bread served with homemade jams, bacon & eggs and brewed coffee or herbal tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful respite from out travels. The Loft was superbly decorated, ably managed and sooo comfortable. The owners/innkeepers could not have been more hospitable and kind. We would stop there again in a heartbeat. If you are in or traveling thru Taupo don't miss the Loft.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect stopover on the way from Napier to Auckland on Lake Taupo and close to Thermal Pools. Very inviting, warm, helpful and friendly. Quality room and excellent breakfast. Would recommend for 2 nights if you don't have more time available in the area.
