★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in your salon yesterday and was booked in with leana , I’m very disappointed as I had a very successful appointment with Siobhan in the pukekohe salon 10 weeks ago and left feeling a million dollars and was educated throughout the service on many different items how to use them why they were suited /not suited to my hair and she took into consideration my lifestyle and budget .
I came to leana because Siobhan was off sick with her son and so I thought I’d try botany because it was close . Boy I was wrong , the photos will show for them self what’s happened . I sat there for nearly a hour and a half with foils in my hair without her checking the lightening in between. My scalp when I left was very tender and sore my hair is breaking and brittle nothing like how I had left the Pukekohe salon, i knew something was wrong when Leana and her apprentice were applying the toner in my hair, and were muttering between themselves. They then quickly washed out toner and applyed something into my hair which began burning my scalp. But I have now spoken with your support office and they were very kind and have helped me resolve this issue . I will from now on be returning to pukekohe salon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a voucher from Vivo on grabone which was supposed to include a balayage/ cut and ombre. I decided to go for a normal colour as the way they described a balayage wasn't what I wanted. Honestly I wished I trusted my initial thoughts and gone with the balayage. The colour achieved was exactly what I wanted but for the price of over $200 altogether I don't think it was worth it. I should have asked for something which included maybe more technique to get my money's worth. The experience was good (albeit lots of waiting) but was disappointed that it didn't look more salon quality for the price I paid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shambolic booking system. Tried to book on website twice - no response. Waited a week and called their branch twice and head office (0800) number to book an appointment. Finally got a call back and booked an appointment, I went to the branch and they couldn't find my booking. Nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will not recommend anyone to have keratin at botany vivo, worst experience today. Paid $339. Firstly the person I booked online did not do my hair. The hairdresser have no idea how to straight hair, taking 3 to 4 big chunks. Had multiple keratin but never had this experience. Never going back to vivo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was so disappointed in my last visit to the salon. After deciding to cut my hair from long lower back to short I got the worst haircut ever. Nothing like I asked for. And that was after $330 and complaining after the first cut and telling him that is not what I wanted and showing him the picture again. Booked an appointment with another salon in Howick Hairaway and spending another $80 she was amazing and gave the the hairstyle I asked for in the first place. Very disappointed in my last visit and will definitely not be a returning customer.
