★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed one night on 24/2/20. A lovely location and very quiet.The facilities are adequate and the bird and animal life are friendly. Especially the goose, who enthusiastically helped me to de-husk a corn cob.

Heaps of features, play ground, bbq, all the facilities you need to be comfortable. All funds go to the up keep of the ground and community not for profit.
It's a trek but it's really worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is gorgeous how camp grounds used to be as kids if your expectations are flash with wifi wrong place if you want clean and usable in a cool setting with everything you need including no wifi because lets face it who needs to check there ph on holiday then this is paradise and its wright on the door step of the old whangamomona road for all the 4wds out there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for New Years Eve with a couple of mates, there are beautiful hills surrounding the campsite and there's a great pub up the road, that serves good cider, Pies, Burgers and Veg Tagines!
The campsite allows well behaved dogs. The campsite owner was a really cool guy too, must stop and have chat with him if you go!
Also, there are miniature ponies up the road by the campsite!
