★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is really damn good. We got vegan options. Only downside was the staff got confused when I asked which of the vegan options could be made gluten free and they kept saying the chicken! I managed to order online instead and that was easier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Too expensive. $21 for a chicken sandwich & $4 for a half serving of chips. The sandwich was average, not $21 worth. Go on youtube or tiktok and make your own chicken coating and deep fry then slap it between some buns with lettuce and cheese with ranch dressing. Thats it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sides are all delicious. Broth tasted predominantly of lemon, not a strong chicken flavour.
Roast chicken is ok. Fried chicken is better than roast, in my opinion. The fried chicken burger was a little too sweet for me.
The food is expensive considering the portion size.
Average rating as I prefer value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have frequented this lovely local over the years and realise only now that I have not reviewed them.
This place is just SO GOOD. I love that there is a non-vegan place with vegan options this good in Hamilton (pickings are slim). The first time I dined here I was astonished at how delicious the jack fruit burger was. I have not tried but have heard rave reviews for the vegan chicken burger. The fries are incredible too.
They even have dessert! The chocolate peanut butter pie is delicious, almost sickeningly rich, but incredible.
In terms of feel, I like the modern, lofty design of the diner and usually they play excellent music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate here with a friend before lockdown and found the pricing decent for the portion size. Service was ok too and wait time was reasonable. The cabinet display was really nice but the tables needed a bit more attention/cleaning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the vegan burger (a little spicy but still good) and tried the deep fried mushrooms for the first time, and they're amazing. It's such a shame that I got food poisoning ? I have no clue why, it could be low immune system because I'm recovering from covid, but oh my god, last night/today has been worse than my entire covid infection, and that wasn't fun either. What a shame. I guess my only advice is perhaps going in and eating there or picking up is better than getting delivery and having it take half an hour to get to you in who knows what condition in the person's car. But I mean, if someone is giving a place three stars despite being poisoned, you know the food is good ?
