Magic spot in remote location up the road to Mt Aspiring. The sculpture in the pool of a mystical being gathering water from the fall adds to the mystique of the place.

I feel like this is a must do in wanaka. It is so majestic, breathe taking place. Bare in mind though. The road to get there is quite rough. It is a gravel road, one and only way to get there. Took me almost 2 hour drive(I drove less than 50km/hr) so it is quite a long drive but the scenic worths every second of driving. (There are some people who drive faster) The fact that it is hard to go there makes it less tourist and make it even more majestic. Wow.

Amazing short 10 minute walk

Beautiful spot. We saw some rocks come over the edge with water so do take care and don't go under the falling water. The water is very chilly but still makes for a nice fresh dip.

At 77-metres height, Wishbone Falls adorns the entrance to the Mt Aspiring National Park. The waterfall can be seen even from the road but it is short 10 minute walk. Wishbone Falls is included into New Zealand Must See Waterfall's list.
