The new Subaru forester that I drove was of superb quality and awesome to drive, particularly up and down the mountain. β β β β β Touchdown are an amazing team to deal with, very friendly and nothing is a problem. I had new Subaru Outback and loved it. I was using it up and down the skifields, evening towing items, and it handled it with ease and drove like a dream. I highly recommend booking your next rental car with Touchdown.

β β β β β The service from here, and especially Ken, is what sets this place apart. Super personal service, our vehicle (Subaru Forester) was perfect for what we needed - especially driving up Cardrona, and was a great recommendation from Ken
Bonus drop off to the airport, although it wasn't far, it was still a really nice touch

Their soft top Mustangs are the show stoppers.. None of the regular rentals have these cars at these prices..

β β β β β I really enjoyed the rental experience with Touchdown Car Rentals! I travel frequently for work in the US and am used to Avis / Budget / etc. This is so much better! The cars are in amazing condition, the pickup / dropoff locations are very convenient without being confusing, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I rented the BMW 1 Series M trim and had a ball driving it from Queenstown to Christchurch! Bit of a challenge as an American to drive a manual (backwards) on the left side of the road, but take your time, look both ways at all intersections, and just enjoy the ride!

β β β β β Just fantastic! We hired our wedding car (Silver Mustang) from Touchdown and they went above and beyond with the service. Ken got in touch with us a few days before to organise an early car drop off as he didnβt want us worrying about it on the wedding day. He was really flexible and just a lovely, down to earth guy who was really easy to work with. The car was pristine and the price was excellent! Would highly recommend as a car rental company!

β β β β β We rented a Mustang while in Queenstown for my partner to have a special day while in Queenstown on holiday. Ken was absolutely amazing and he went above and beyond to make this a special experience. Car was seriously cool and even though it was almost winter she dropped the roof and enjoyed driving the convertible. Car was super clean and pick up was easy to locate and also right next to a fuel station which made it easy to refuel. Absolutely loved the Mustang and the service provided by Touchdown Car Rentalsβ¦.. 110% recommend!!!!
