We were ignored by the first person sitting there and welcomed by the newbie (who was lovely). Unfortunately she was unable to help us and the other two refused to help her. Guess we won't be moving to the TSB. I would have thought with so few branches that customer service would be the top priority - but it is certainly no fun having most of the people in the branch pretending you don't exist.

Very poor quality of service from the Manager I suppose (had a separate office for herself). We went there to discuss our housing loan and she was not happy to discuss it. We insisted it is not for a new loan but just to transfer an existing loan from one bank to TSB, her straight reply was 'You are better off with wherever you are now'. With this customer service, no wonder why they are still small and can't get any bigger. Very very poor. Never TSB again.

Had a great experience opening up a new account with my husband last weekend. Very personable service and the team has a great sense of humour and fun which I’ve never experienced in a bank before. The team seem to work well together and are supportive which gives me the expectation that’s also how I will be treated as a customer. Nice to see their values clearly outlined in store too.

Terrible service the staff counldnt care less. Went in around New Years day, there were 4 staff but not a single customer. They were all looking at a staff cell phone and talking away. So I felt like I was interrupting them. Then as my enquiry was not a sale related one, they kept on asking me to go to another bank. They did not even show any interests in my as an indvidual, no offering to sit down. (remmeber they had no customers). Elizabeth seemed new so she referred me to another colleague. Throughout this interaction I was made to feel that I was in staff way of chatting away rather do actual work like serving customer. Poor demonstrations and I am surprise these are the values TSB staff hold for treating customers. I do not recommend this branch and their existing review rating further confirms mine. Very disappointment. So much for NZL owned bank. I get better service from food court in the same shopping mall so you need to do better for customers TSB.

Mobile mortgage managers are really after hooking the customers with TSB without providing any actual value to them. for example, I've asked an requested to provide interest rates for my housing loan which is running with different bank. to which they says they just match what the other banks are offering. so if you see they are just lazy and don't want to put any effort in providing what their bank can offer, pretty disgusting they are. don't get trapped with them please.

The officer who served me obviously did not know what she was doing. I needed my account to be reactivated and it should be done with one visit. I visited the office 3 times in a month already, and I am not sure how many more trips to make to complete the process...

FRUSTRATING to say the very least. We are trying to open a second account for children who have accounts here already as well as both parents having all their accounts and mortgages with the bank - it should not be this hard!! Four trips in and we still feel we are no further ahead. We’ve brought in all the paperwork required. We’ve signed every form given to us- one of which we were later told was the wrong form. I’ve asked to work with someone else and was refused this. (Not naming individuals here) Come on, TSB we used to brag about how good our bank was - not now!

I have decided to close my son's account today. Very poor service from Yvonne Fidow. TSB needs to wake up. My wife called TSB hotline in the morning and was told to drop by TSB NW as my son has an account with TSB, therefore do not need to have an appointment. There were no customers when we were at TSB NW and there were no customers after we left TSB NW. They rather sitting there doing nothing than to service their customers.
