Need find right person for the job ! Otherwise wast time and received bad service ! Very Disappointment for this bank ! Very mean staff who working in branch ! If they do not like you can do anything on you! No one can solution any problem !

The senior personal Banker ( Gursimran Singh) of ANZ Botany gave us unsatisfactory advise to me and my husband. My husband and I went to ANZ Bank for home loan and there we met this senior personal Banker who took all the information from my husband and I and then he advised us to get engaged with a lawyer. Frustrating thing is that we already told him on the very first day that I am on work visa and despite knowing that he told us to engage with a lawyer. The lawyer gave us the letter as requested by him and later he came back to us saying that we do not qualify for home loan since I am on work visa. Now me and my husband will end up paying lawyer for all the work she did and we won't be able to purchase the home we were after. The lawyer did her part and we were successful in first home grant, my husband was able to withdraw his kiwisaver and we had more than required 10% deposit. If Gursimran Singh would have given us appropriate advise, we would not have applied for first home grant, my husband's kiwisaver, and lastly we would not have engaged with the lawyer. All these had caused us go through emotional roller-coaster and emotional stress which we are still trying to recover from.

Website says they open til 7pm on a Thursday however we tried to get into the door just after 5pm was signalled by a staff member inside through the glass with a ??‍♀️. Am o missing something here? Waste of time for us to drive all the way there after work

My teller was LOVELY and handled my query quickly HOWEVER: surely Sat morning is the only time lots of full-time workers can go to the bank. The queue out the door sure made it look that way. Use your noggin and roster more people on - having two staff on the desks and a 30 min wait time is not cool.

A busy bank just like everyone else, make sure you have the patience to wait for your turn. Opened and account, thing is doors aren't closed or you can hear other client's business on the next cubicle which is pretty much uncomfortable with it comes with privacy. Anyways, we've met a bank personnel who is helpfuo enough, so 4 stars to this branch but so much room for improvements!

The staff in there are incompetent. My partner had to go in to verify his ID and address and the lady who served him was incompetent and needed the manager to confirm things that were straightforward. She said she wouldn't accept proof of address from NZTA email (a government agency) and it had to be a utility bill (third party company), and was then corrected by the manager. On top of that ANZ as a bank has gone downhill and treated us badly lately despite being customers for years, we will be moving banks.

We have been trying to open a joint bank account with them for over 2 months now. Every time we call or go in they have a different excuse for why they can’t help us. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star to be honest

23/04/22, 13:20 Female staff in navy blue T-ahirt, navy blue trousers and mask was not helpful with icking up ANZ visa debit card. She greeted me and asked questions at the entrance by the way.
