What a lovely place. Stayed there last week showing a fashion range and it was great. Lovely welcome from Cindy the owner and nothing was to much trouble. Gorgeous rooms, fantastic beds and quiet. well worth every cent as its clean and warm, and a kitchen that has everything, including decent wine glasses.

This is a short walk to the waters, McDonald’s and some places to eat and shop. We got a 2 bedroom unit with one bathroom. Both rooms have small/narrow single beds. There’s kitchen, dining, TV, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave and free wifi. I noticed neatly folded white towels and hanged bathrobes in one of the parking slots. I’m not sure if those are the ones provided in each rooms. There’s heated pool. At the back of the property is a beautiful view of the lake and nice path for walking. Reception lady was nice and friendly.

We were celebrating a very special friends Hens do and we had booked 3 family rooms, upon arrival we were upgraded to have the penthouse also! which was a bonus and just made our day more super exciting as there was about 20 of us that were able to hang out in one room together. The suites had everything you needed and more, very modern. Cindy and Chris were our hosts who love onsite. They were just amazing and ever so helpful! Thank you for an amazing stay we shall be back ❤

We had a BRILLIANT night at Sacred Waters. A 3 bedroom thermal apartment over looking the main pool, with glimpses over the lake. Amazing hosts and the Tandam carpark which accommodated our two vehicles amply. The room was gold. Plenty of space, quiet, clean, well equipped and appointed. Pros: *Comfortable beds *Full Sky TV *Well equipped kitchen with dishdraws *Ensuite bathroom, and another bathroom off hallway *Private setting *large balcony *comfortable bedding with quality linens *Awesome hot bath outside (great to enjoy a few drinks in on a cold night) *easy access to town by car *Impeccable service Cons: *bed in 3rd bedroom was terribly small! *Few windows had no curtains or blinds, let in a lot of light. While hopping out of the thermal tub that night, I accidentally broke the foot stool and broke a beer bottle. My experiance with nice places like this is- if you break it, you pay for it. I explained what happened to the host the next morning and she was amazing. First thought was for my wellbeing. She apologized profusely and said she would duck down to the shop and pick up another one. The price was bang on for the offering, and we look forward to our return visit

Excellent - a friendly check-in experience - good parking - clean and well considered apartments. Great views - excellent amenities. A very relaxing place to stay in Taupo. Highly Recommended. Some minor recommendations - have hooks for gowns nearby the balcony thermal baths - as well as a small table to place any valuables/food/etc. It would also be great to see Hot Chocolate added to the Tea/Coffee selection.

Beautiful, clean, very spacious. Top that with the most genuine, kind owner who went out of his way to make our stay so perfect. I can’t praise him enough. They say you don’t always remember what someone says, but you always remember how they make you feel and Chris made us feel special. Our suite had a large stainless private mineral pool that was also just steps away from a heated to 35 degrees swimming pool. The kitchen was spotless and modern, as were the laundry facilities. Outside eating area. We were super warm and cosy even though the temperatures outside were single digit at night. TV had all channels, lights with dimmers. It’s only meters walk to the lake which has a boardwalk for strolling and enjoying the ducks and swans. It felt like a home. Seven stars.

This place was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The apartment was so well equipped with a full kitchen and we managed to dry our towels in between our trips to the perfectly heated pool and our private thermal hot tub. We watched the amazing sunset both nights from our deck which over looked the beautiful lake. The apartment was also sound proof which was great when other guests wanted to enjoy the pool. We were greeted by our hostess who was so lovely and had the best sense of humour. We also really enjoyed the artwork which gave a nod to the local and historic area. I can’t thank you enough for making our stay so wonderful. Arohanui

Sadly we didn’t have a stay like most of the others posting here. We paid just under $700 for our family of five, for one night. Our kitchen was in good condition but bathrooms were in need of repair with showers mouldy in areas. We had noisy neighbours, who continuously played rap/hip hop and spent majority of their time loudly socialising and drinking on deck - which meant we couldn’t sit outside or have our ranch slider open. After going inside, they started music back up, until about 10pm. The Manager tried to help but was somewhat passive in ensuring it didn’t continue (as they just kept re-starting music or moving the noise outside) - end of day our neighbours were obviously clueless when they booked that loud music was a no-go, so it’s not them I hold to fault. I’m disappointed they don’t have Ts and Cs to outline rules more clearly, and therefore prevent people from having their stay ruined. We had to call the management a couple of times, which resulted in back and fourth attempts to sort the situation - and it completely took what should have been a relaxing stay away from us. We have never experienced anything like this in other hotels - and this was the most we have ever paid, so we were shocked at this experience. It felt more like we were in emergency accommodation. We will never return to this place. There are so many other places in better condition, for much less than this - we feel totally ripped off. Beechtree has a fantastic 3 bedroom apartment, we will be returning to them instead.
